MISSION STATEMENT

Fox Valley Pop Warner Football, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing area youth the opportunity to participate in an organized, supervised, safe and fun football program.  The program's goals are for youth to learn football fundamentals, teamwork, pride, discipline, leadership and good sportsmanship.

Fox Valley Pop Warner Football, Inc. which began in 1973, has over 1000 youth participating in the program.  Players must register each year.  No tryouts are required.  Players will not be cut, providing they maintain good league standing.

GOALS & PHILOSOPHY OF THE POP WARNER PROGRAM
Pop Warner Football is an international program operated for the benefit of its youthful participants.  Since 1929, the program's philosophy has been:  Academics and Athletics go hand-in-hand.  At every level, Pop Warner Football seeks to develop well-rounded young men and women who learn not only the fundamentals of football, cheerleading and dance but also the importance of education, in an atmosphere conducive to developing sound mind, body and character - and having a good time along the way!

The general objectives of Pop Warner Football are to inspire youth, regardless of race, creed or national origin, to practice the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship, and physical fitness, as reflected in the life of the late Glenn Scobie "Pop" Warner.

Pop Warner strives to make the game "fun" for all boys and girls.  The program stresses learning lessons of value far beyond the playing or spirit days of the boys and girls involved, such as: self-discipline, teamwork, concentration, friendship, leadership, and good sportsmanship.

With such goals in mind, and by providing an opportunity to participate in an organized, supervised environment with emphasis on safety and participation.  Pop Warner Football offers young men and women a unique experience.
